Nominations for 5thFOIOA Announced; Gully Boy & Sonchiriya lead the tally!


The nominations for 5th FOI Online Awards across 25 categories for feature films released in 2019 have been announced. Leading the nominations tally is Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy (23 nods), making it the highest-nominated feature film at the FOIOAs, a record previously and jointly held by Bajirao Mastani & Dangal (18 nods each). Gully Boy is not the sole breaker of the record this year, with Abhishek Chaubey's Sonchiriya bagging 19 nominations. Other high scorers in the list are Article 15 (10 nods), Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (9 nods) and The Sky Is Pink (8 nods).


With the release of nominations list, public voting has been announced, which is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, 9th February 2020. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 11th February 2020.
